Cutting Edge Technology Harnesses Mother Nature!

In ancient cultures, the Sun was the giver of life and the most important factor in daily life. Everything from commerce, to farming to worship centered on the hub of our galaxy. Through the centuries, the sun remained the primary source of establishing time, seasons, and when to wake or sleep. Records indicate that the Chinese used natural gas to illuminate and warm their homes, but that did not catch on in the Western world. Over the past 600 years, fuel (gas or oil) provided a way to create light out of fuel, without requiring candles or fire. In 1417 the Gas Street Lamp was developed in London. Over time this became the common way to heat and light homes and buildings, bringing with it the risks of piping natural gas into these structures.

Today, we have returned to the same source used for thousands of years, before common use of natural gas, oil, and gas; the Sun. Merging the unfathomable energy it provides, with today’s technology, we can harness and use the energy day and night, sunny or cloudy, year in and year out. What used to control life and business cycles is not a partner in our 24 hour a day world.

After using and depleting the non-renewable energy in the Earth, being Green started to take over. Everything from biodegradable packaging, to water conservation to walking, biking and pubic transportation have made an amazing impact on the quality of life for everyone. But keeping our environment lighted, heated and cooled still used electricity most commonly converted form fossil fuels, such as natural gas, petroleum and coal. Over the past decade, major breakthroughs have developed to capture the Sun’s energy regardless of sun or clouds, and store it to sustain power that must be available 24 hours a day, Solar farms help power grids, but taking the solar collection to each structure has quickened it’s integration and provided control over energy costs from building to building and house to house.

The future is bright for Solar power, with innovation and incentives driving it’s practical implementation in new building and housing construction. Existing structures can now benefit from Solar Power as well with retrofitting. Amazingly, that old adage ‘The more things change, the more they stay the same’ rings true. Slowly, we are reversing the damage to the Earth from the ravages that fossil fuels have caused to the Earth.
